Quectel EC200A is a series of LTE Cat 4 modules optimized specifically for M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) applications. By adopting the 3GPP Rel. 9 LTE technology, it delivers impressive maximum data rates of up to 150 Mbps for downlink and 50 Mbps for uplink.

Design and Compatibility

The EC200A series is designed in a compact and unified form factor, making it compatible with various Quectel multi-mode LTE standard modules, including the EC25 series, EC21 series, EC20-CE, EG25-G, EC200U series, EC200T series, and UMTS/HSPA+ UC200T series. This compatibility allows for flexible migration among these modules during design and manufacturing processes.

Variants and Frequency Coverage

The EC200A series includes three variants: EC200A-CN, EC200A-EU, and EC200A-AU, each covering the frequency bands of different countries and regions. Additionally, it is backward compatible with existing GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, ensuring reliable operation even in remote areas lacking 4G or 3G coverage.
